Friday 8-noon
Saturday 8-noon with potluck

Upcoming Events:

“Hot Summer Nights” Salsa Fiesta - August 21 from 4-7pm:
To celebrate the harvest of peppers and tomatoes as well as the Latin culture all around us, we are going to be learning how to make tortillas and salsa from scratch, then firing up the oven, eating quesadillas and playing in the garden. If you are interested in learning about this process please come at 2:00. If you are able to help volunteer at this event please contact Keri Frank: kerifrank@hotmail.com.

Worship Service in the Garden August 30 from 7-8pm:
Come join us to worship God with the rest of Creation through songs, prayer and reflection. Come remember what it means to be Christ’s body in the world through taking the sacraments of bread and wine and imagine how gardening can also be a sacramental act.

Deliveries (with bread):
A portion of each week’s harvest goes to five families in the neighborhood. This is an area of our ministry that we are working to grow—both in the number of families we feed and the amount of nutritious food we deliver. This month we began by including fresh-baked bread from our wood-fired oven in the deliveries.

Ready to Harvest:   tomatoes, basil, okra, cucumbers, yellow squash, zucchini squash, eggplant, blackberries, herbs, a lot of different pretty flowers, and more.

Lawn Mower: We are looking for a riding lawn mower (with a relatively narrow mowing deck) to help us better manage the grass in the garden and orchard. If you have any leads for this or any of the items on the list below please contact Chas Edens: cmedens@gmail.com.  -bush hog work, conventional oven with stove top, mulch forks, minor construction work.

All gifts are tax-deductible!
