An initiative called Communities Take Root, is donating part of our orchard and is sending an expert to help plant the trees and learn how to maintain them.  In addition to this free workshop we will be giving away fruit bars, t-shirts and tote bags.  Gather with new friends, plant trees, listen to live music, and participate in an orchard blessing.  Bring a friend, an instrument for a jam session.  We are having a Bring Your Own Lunch picnic (not the usual potluck), but if you want to bring something to share, feel free to do so.  Strap on your work boots & come celebrate with us!
