2013 UMW Kit Drive

The UMW is collecting emergency health, sewing, school and layette kits as a mission project. A list of things to include in each type of kit is included in Sunday’s bulletin. Kits may be given to any member of the UMW or dropped off at the church office. Please turn all kits in by May 5. Thank you for supporting the UMW in this effort!

The Young Families Small Group will celebrate Mother’s Day and the second anniversary of the group after worship this Sunday at Anathoth Garden. Please plan to join us for a beautiful luncheon in the midst of God’s creation!

Homecoming Sunday (8:00AM - 11:59PM)
A Day of Celebrations: Homecoming, Baptism, Holy Communion In addition to Pentecost, Sunday will be our annual Homecoming. We will welcome back friends and family who join with us in worship to celebrate the rich spiritual heritage of CGUMC. Also during worship, we will celebrate the baptism of Amelia Doi – fittingly on her 1st birthday! Our worship service will conclude with Holy Communion as we come together as a community to the Lord’s Table. Following worship, we will gather together in the Fellowship Hall for a delicious covered dish lunch. Please plan to join us for this wonderful day of celebration and community!
